----------------------------------

The village of Dunmire needs crops, but growing veg in this murky old place is dangerous work. Sir Renwick is a man up to the task. He must defend his post at all cost and gather as many resources as possible for the villagers. but the monster threat grows with each passing day. he doesn’t know how long he can hold out. but he has to try. for the good people of Dunmire.

Harvest Doom is a mix os farm simulators and tower defense.

----------------------------------

There are some known bugs (that may or may not be fixed on this html version):

  • The game may 'flicker' and show black lines between tilesets depending on your resolution. :\
  • If you resize the window after the game started, it can show some weird behavior (so refresh your page after resizing the window).
  • If you are at the house door and try to move up once more, the request window will close.
  • Towers that get destroyed will continue to attack.
  • The farm toolbar will sometime show wrong values.
  • The character walks in 'front' of the towers when he should be behind them.
  • Audio can get messy after so many waves. Sorry!

I want to like this game, but the difficulty level is way too high! It took me several tries to get past the first waves.

Main concerns:

  • There is so little time between waves to build and farm
  • Buildings are too expensive
  • Food requests are overwhelming

I would suggest adding more time between waves, and restricting food orders to a few common types in 2-5 piece batches of plants for the first few levels, then adding in more exotic and larger ones later.

Lol, didn't think someone would appears here after so long. So, this was a game jam entry and we could not balance it properly (or dare I say, "at all"). And unfortunately I could not get back to it after it was done.

That said, thanks a lot for checking it out and taking the time to give feedback and suggestions. <3

thats great
